problems  My biggest problem was figuring out certain procedural mapping with regard to objects' UV (or ST) space. I ended up not using certain displacements since I wanted because of this. But one solution I found was using PxrRoundCube with PxrMultiTexture nodes. final thoughts Even though it can be tedious, I enjoyed working with ribs and I'm pleased with how it turned out. I would really like to add the appropriate displacements however to add some energy to the shape.
